Hi!

I'm Lehanne, I'm a mum, a wife and a student and I love reading and writing!

As a third year (in september 2022) student of Publishing and Writing at the University of Derby I know how much of a daunting and difficult task it is to actually get work out into the public sphere. Because of this I have decided I'd like to start reviewing authored work, so whether its on my To Be Read List, my bookshelves or requested (which i'll touch on further down) it will be posted on here, my new blogsite.

My Reviews

There is no limit to my love of reading, no genre I will not read, no journey I will not go on, no adventure I will not experience. I have an abundance of respect for any author - officially, unoffically, independently or trade published or not published, only on the internet, bestselling or not selling - who shares what they have to say.

To begin with I will be posting reviews of items on My To Be Read list, including childrens books that I read as a mum, but I am happy to take requests to reveiw books or peices of writing. This could be something you might want to read but arent sure about or something you have written that you would like a published review for.

As part of my reviews I will also be including advised ages for childrens and young reader books and trigger warnings adult readers as I feel this is an important part of book catergorisation that sometimes gets left out.

Extras

Not only will I be sharing my love of reading and my opinions on my read I be sharing my other love - writing - so there may be some random shorts, poems or pieces that arent't reviews cropping up from time to time. I like to write both fiction and non-fiction and have a passion for writing and recording parenting anecdotes and techniques I find useful.
